LC Sharing Project

Dear Readers

As you read this letter, the editors and publishers of Focolare magazines and publishing houses worldwide are in Castelgandolfo, Italy for their first international conference. This global network is such a treasure, able to communicate the ideals of universal brotherhood and peace that today’s world so badly needs.

In light of the recent first anniversary of Chiara Lubich’s passing (March 14), our conference intends to be a forum to examine our mission and the means at our disposal to be faithful to Chiara’s vision.

Consider this: there are 37 editions in 24 different languages. The ideal of unity is universal, applicable in every culture, making the world one family. We trust in your prayers and encouragement in order to spread this message, based on real-life experiences and personal transformation. This issue is packed with them.

How can we be better at your service and of all those who could benefit from reading something positive and hopeful? We’d like to introduce the “LC Sharing Project.” Just send us the addresses of people you think would enjoy reading Living City, and we’ll send them a complimentary subscription. Donations, small or large, will pay for this project, and since the Gospel is true, “give and it will be given to you” will be our guide.

We wish all mothers, grandmothers and spiritual mothers a special Mother’s Day from all of us at Living City.
